Andi Behring is a television director based in Atlanta, Georgia, originally from Los Angeles. After earning her degree in Film Production from Sacramento State, she built her career in Atlanta, working her way up to be the location manager on series including The Vampire Diaries, P-Valley, Black Lightning, and Dynasty. She has also scouted locations for projects such as Will Trent, Fly Me to the Moon, The Originals, Legacies, Triple 9, and Let’s Be Cops.

Andi began her episodic directing career on the CW/Netflix reboot of Dynasty, directing four episodes, and went on to direct the sci-fi series Tom Swift. Most recently, she directed three episodes of Chicago Med for Wolf Entertainment and NBC.

She is drawn to character-driven storytelling, particularly projects that elevate women’s voices, the LGBTQIA+ community, heavy drama, and stories rooted in sports. She also has a deep love for sci-fi and anything space-adjacent.

Alongside her work in television, Andi has consistently written, directed, and produced her own projects. Her short films have screened at over 60 film festivals worldwide. Through her production company, &D Productions, she continues to develop original work across Georgia and the country.

Committed to mentorship and community, Andi serves as Head of Director Initiatives for The Storyteller Sessions, an online network supporting filmmakers at all levels. She also collaborates with Georgia State University, leading workshops like “Actors Refresh” and also mentoring emerging creatives through the Atlanta Film Society and ATL Film Festival.

She lives in Atlanta with her wife Alli, their mini schnauzer, and two cats.
